Title
Plastic Micro-Channel Platform for Counter-Diffusion Crystallography
Body
Greiner Bio-One introduces a new platform for Counter-Diffusion Crystallography within a standard microscope slide format, available January 2008, developed in collaboration with the laboratory of Peter Kuhn, The Scripps Research Institute, La Jolla (CA, USA). The platform is featuring 10 channels (0.1 mm x 0.1 mm x 20 mm) for counter-diffusion experiments. Filling reservoirs are optimized for the use of standard pipette tips. Automated handling is facilitated by housing four slides within a holder conforming to the ANSI standard footprint. A unique design, in combination with superior material properties, renders excellent suitability for - in situ X-ray data collection and structure determination - crystal analysis with polarized light - small sample volumes of about 150 nL
